River View at Calallen

Ninety-six apartments in the Calallen district of Corpus Christi, 2016 to 2018, at $10,750,000, with RGC as general contractor.

It is the second Corpus Christi project and it follows Riverstone directly. Sixty units in 2015 became ninety-six in 2016 in the same city, which is what a repeat award looks like: the work was good enough that the next one was larger and did not require a new introduction.

The photograph is from the twenty-sixth of September 2017. Three-story elevations in red and tan, siding and stone part way up, material stacked across a lot still wet from rain, a pickup parked where the drive will be. It is a job in the middle of itself, which is the state a general contractor actually lives in.
