Euless, TX
One hundred and twenty senior apartments in Euless, 2016 to 2018, at $13,550,000. Four stories, and the tallest wood-framed structure of the Gardner Capital run.
RGC held the general contractor's role. Height is what makes this one different from the rest of that stretch: a fourth floor changes the framing, the sequencing of the trusses, and the amount of the building that has to stand open to the weather before it is dried in.
The two dates on the photographs measure it. Seventeenth of April 2017: foil-faced sheathing going up, roof trusses stacked on the deck, a worker standing on the top plate. Seventeenth of January 2018: the near-complete four-story elevation at golden hour with a contractor's truck still in the lot. Nine months, top plate to finished building.
