Sugar Land, TX
One hundred and thirty-two apartments in Sugar Land, 2016 to 2018, at a construction cost of $14,250,000. It is the largest single project of the Gardner Capital Construction years and the most concrete RGC placed on any one site during them.
RGC was general contractor here. Gardner developed and RGC built, which is the arrangement across all seven projects of that run and the reason the photography from these years is site photography. The work being sold was the execution.
Two of the frames below are dated ten days apart in January 2018. One shows a boom pump placing a building slab with ready-mix trucks queued along the formed deck; the other shows a completed three-story brick and siding elevation. They are different buildings on the same site, which is what a phased schedule looks like when it is working: the last slab goes down while the first building is already finished.
